Welcome to the Plano East High School 2002-03 athletic season. Plano East High School has a rich tradition of academic and athletic excellence. The Plano East Athletic Booster Club members believe that academics and athletics go hand in hand for the success of our children. The Booster Club is dedicated to the continued support of our student athletes, coaching staff, trainers, and athletic department programs.
The mission of the Plano East Booster Club is to:
1. Support athletic and academic excellence in all student athletes
2. Promote active and involved parent and community leadership
3. Promote sportsmanship and provide supplementary financial support to all Plano East athletic teams.
4. Maintain the history and tradition of excellence, which exemplifies our student athletes, coaches, athletic trainers, and teams.
In addition, the Booster Club acts as a liaison between the Plano Independent School District, teachers, staff, parents, coaches and student athletes to identify issues critical to the continued development and support of student athletic programs at Plano East High School.
Some of the activities that the Booster Club has engaged in during the past year include: raising money to support our teams and programs and supporting a Plano East Athletic Endowment at the Plano Community Area Foundation. The Booster Club has provided financial support to football activities like the sportsmanship summit and Plano East athletic ambassadors, managed a general Booster Club fund and made contributions to individual causes and events based upon their benefit to the team. The Booster Club has provided a venue for representatives from all sports to share issues of concern, ask questions and exchange ideas.
The Booster Club is open to all interested parents, teachers, coaches, staff, community and corporate leaders and students. If our Booster Club is to be truly a representative body we need significant parent participation at every meeting. Please consider becoming a representative for your son on our team!
The Booster Club meets regularly each month except in and December. The meetings are held on the third Monday beginning at 7:00 PM. The meetings are held in the athletic classroom at Plano East High School. Meet The Boosters
